"Just perfect!"
My wife and I recently attended a wedding at Grittleton House in Grittleton and chose Manor Farm B & B knowing that it was nearby. We couldn't believe how close it actually is and only a matter of a few minutes' walk away! In view of the fact that we were a considerable distance from home we had decided to stay for 3 nights so that we could not only enjoy the wedding and subsequent celebrations but also have time to explore the surrounding area. Manor Farm is a working arable & beef farm, in the quintessential village of Grittleton, offering traditional farmhouse bed & breakfast accommodation 6 miles from Chippenham railway station.

Standing steady in the family since 1930, Manor Farm has served as a loving home as well a working farm for almost 100 years. A charming country retreat to become home from home.

Easy access from either junction 17 or 18 of the M4. Lively village pub, The Neeld Arms, just a 4 minute walk away, serving food until 9pm. Children’s playground 8 minutes walk through the picturesque village.

There are attractions galore - including iconic Stonehenge, and Avebury. Salisbury Cathedral, Bath Abbbey, Lacock, Castle Combe, Longleat, Malmesbury, Bath, Cotswolds, Wiltshire's White Horses, Stourhead, Westonbirt Arboretum and the Kennet & Avon Canal .

Chippenham is the largest town in North Wiltshire. A little over an hour's journey from central London by train or Heathrow airport, it offers an ideal centre for relaxation in rural Wiltshire.

Chippenham’s name originated in Saxon times meaning ‘River Meadow’. Its position in a crook of the River Avon has given it, through the centuries, a strategic position and power for its cloth mills. Today the river provides a peaceful backdrop to walking and cycling routes
